Summer Release Event 2026

Last year, we announced the Winter Release Event — our first-ever livestreamed launch event.

We hyped it endlessly for 6 weeks, teasing that we'd announce the biggest updates and news in company history. Admittedly, I almost got self-conscious about how much hype we were delivering.

These days, every company makes broad claims about how their latest announcement is going to set the world on fire. I'll never forget when the founder/CEO of ConvertKit spent months hyping "the biggest news in their 11-year history" … only to announce a name change to Kit and a few native integrations.

It looks like they're back at it again hyping some new event next week. I'm excited to watch them announce a bunch of features that we released months ago (MCP, landing pages, etc.). There's a reason why I'm the unofficial (and unpaid) Head of Product at Kit.

But back to the main plot. The Winter Release Event didn't just deliver, it blew past everyone's expectations. We had nearly 10,000 people join the live event, and the overwhelming reaction was exactly what we'd hoped for.

I'll refer to the comment section as my witness:

The production itself was beautiful, and we announced 10 tentpole features that genuinely changed the trajectory of the company. Here are a few highlights from that single event:

Digital Products. The ability to sell guides, templates, ebooks, consulting sessions, or whatever else you want directly via your website and newsletter on beehiiv (all with 0% transaction fees). No third-party tools required.

AI Website Builder. Build a fully custom website by simply chatting with AI. Upload screenshots, design inspiration, or anything else directly into the chat and bring beautiful pages to life in minutes.

Link in Bio. No need to have a separate platform and subscription just for a simple link in bio tool. Expand your existing website to include a mobile-optimized link in bio and consolidate your stack all under one roof.

Website Analytics. Native analytics that don't require pixels, third-parties, or stitching together data from multiple platforms. Understand your website traffic and conversion better than ever.

Podcast Websites. Before launching podcast hosting this past March, we introduced the ability to sync your existing podcast to your beehiiv website and autogenerate individual episode pages for your audience to discover.

Before, we were known as a "newsletter platform." After, it became obvious that our ambition scaled well beyond the inbox. beehiiv is the best solution for anyone with an audience.

It takes a leadership team willing to swing for the fences (again). It requires an entire product, design, and engineering org to lock in on new tentpole projects and ship on a tight deadline. It takes a growth, marketing, and creative team that's able to bring this idea to life and have tens of thousands of people attend live. And of course — the entire company to back the initiative.
